Liam Gallagher label gives 1960s vibe to Cheshire Oaks this Christmas

People struggling to find a Christmas present for the fashion-conscious indie or rock-loving friend or family member on their list have a new option at Cheshire Oaks, as Liam Gallagher’s label Pretty Green has opened a temporary store within the designer outlet.

The former Oasis singer, now fronting Beady Eye, launched the menswear label in 2009 and the new Ellesmere Port pop-up store brings its number of outlets in the UK up to 13, with other North West stores already set up in Liverpool and Gallagher’s home city of Manchester.

Having opened at Cheshire Oaks on December 8, the new store will give those looking for a stylish gift with an alternative and highly detailed 1960s edge the chance to get exactly what they are looking for up until January.

Cheshire Oaks has also seen the opening of two other stores this month, as footwear specialists Church’s and womenswear label Joseph – a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge – also set up camp at the large outlet centre, which now boasts an addition of 16 brands in total throughout 2012.

With the area now also home to the second-largest Marks & Spencer store in the country, Ellesmere Port and Chester are currently great places to be a shopper and to find an ideal gift in time for Christmas – or that great bargain in the January sale. The wealth of options attracts people from other parts of the country in need of retail therapy to seek accommodation near Cheshire Oaks in the run-up to the festive season and all year round.
